BOLTON, ON – Husky Technologies^TM, a global leader in injection molding technology and solutions, is pleased to announce the acquisition of secondary injection unit and rotary platen technologies from MGS Healthcare Manufacturing (MGS), a global provider of healthcare manufacturing solutions. This acquisition further strengthens Husky’s position as a leading provider of integrated multi-material solutions across key industries, including medical, packaging, and consumer electronics.

Advancing Innovation and Enhancing Customer Value 

This acquisition enables the integration of precision secondary injection units and rotary platens with Husky’s industry-leading Altanium^® mold controller technology. Integrating these advanced multi-shot technologies enhances Husky’s ability to provide comprehensive, high-performance, turn-key solutions tailored to the production of multi-material and multi-color applications.

The addition of these technologies enables Husky to expand its offering of fully integrated, multi-material solutions, improving manufacturing efficiency and performance. It also creates new opportunities for growth in the packaging, medical, personal, and homecare markets, enabling producers to benefit from a more complete range of innovative, high-performing solutions.

Husky is already working on ensuring a smooth integration of these technologies for customers and the new product additions will be showcased on Husky’s booth (Hall A, #627) at the upcoming Plastics Technology XPO, North America’s premier molding and moldmaking event, taking place in Illinois from March 18-20.
